Organized by the PortDance group with 30 years of experience, the festival offers dancers unique opportunities for visibility and networking, both nationally and internationally.

PortDanceFest was born in 2025 with the goal of putting Portugal on the map of major international dance festivals. After the success of the first editions, this third edition will be even bigger!

More than a competition, PortDanceFest is a vibrant community that celebrates dance in all its forms and provides unforgettable experiences for all participants.

(FAQ) Frequently Asked Questions 2026

1. Who can participate in the competition?

Dancers of all ages, in solos, duets, trios, groups (4 to 19 members) and large groups (more than 19 members).

2. What styles are available?

You can come and represent Hip-Hop, Commercial, Afro, Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Acrodance, Ballet, All Girls, High Heels, Belly Dance.

3. What is the registration fee?

There is a registration fee of €10 applied to all dancers. In addition to this amount, there are registration fees for solos (€25), duets/trios (€20/person) and groups (€15/person).

4. Are there cash prizes?

Yes, monetary prizes will be awarded to the winners of the Breakthrough Awards.

5. What do I need to register?

Fill out the online form and wait for the PortDanceFest team to contact you to officially confirm your registration.
